Street Light Records....

The former Street Light Records store has been cleaned out and there are fewer remnants of the ol' store. it's for rent and it seems like it would make a good dance/yoga studio. i mean, someone do it...do it!

Also, if I had my wish-list of what would open in da Noe it would be the following:

• a real ice cream/yogurt place;
• a community pool that would replace that baseball field at the rec. center that nobody uses;
• an outdoor open-air pub bar like Revolution where live music is played; and
• bike depots--so we can ride around the hood--spots in the mission and castro will be available for drop off and pick up of course.

I mean a girl 's gotta dream. what other stuff would you like to see?

i came across the infamous noe valley walking tour on my bike. these guys were so cute and so hype...i lurved it.

the tours are run by sfcityguides.org. they are free, but they take donations. next tour is sept. 6 at 1 pm. meet at sally brunn libary.

the noe valley twittasphere is fun to read as peeps can't stop discussing whole foods...it's like a hemoragic fever.

the move-in date has been a major hot topic and now twits are popping up about the op-ed piece john mackey, the CEO of whole foods, wrote on health care reform:

"While we clearly need health-care reform, the last thing our country needs is a massive new health-care entitlement that will create hundreds of billions of dollars of new unfunded deficits and move us much closer to a government takeover of our health-care system.
